Circle of Friends magazine is "By kids and for kids". And that means kids (and teens) like you! Here's how to contribute:
Who can submit work? Children and teens who are 4 and up. Please remember that the magazine is directed at ages 6-12, so make sure your work is appropriate for children.
Send your work to:

What you can submit:
Submissions to "Your own pages": To send us your submissions for the "Your own pages" page, email/mail them to me, and I will tell you (via email) if your work will be published. This page is good for kids who want to submit photos, poetry, or ONE TIME drawings. (If you'd like to be an illustrator see below)
Short stories: To send us your short stories, email/mail them to me, and I will tell you if your work will be published. Stories may be any length, but if longer than 1000 words, be prepared for your story to be split up into sections, and each section published in a different issue. (For examples of how this works, view one of the Ronald and Rose stories, which can be found in issues 1-12.)
Poetry: To send us your poetry, email/mail it to me, and I will tell you if your work will be published. Poetry must be less than 3 pages long, and does not have to rhyme. If it is longer than 5 lines, and is accepted for publication, it will be illustrated. Otherwise, it will appear on Your Own Pages.
Jokes/Puzzles: To submit your jokes or puzzles, send them to me, and I will tell you (via email) if your work will be published.
Illustrations: To be a Circle of Friends illustrator, email/mail a sample of your work and a letter telling me what you like to illustrate, (people, animals, scenery, etc.) and I will tell you (via email) if you are selected to be an illustrator.
One Time Drawings: Do you want to submit some artwork but not be an Illustrator? Send me your drawings and they might be published on your own pages! (You can also send me your photos.)
Please note that, even if your work is not selected to be published in the magazine, I try my best to respond to every email/letter, and give you feedback on your work.
GOOD LUCK!
