What is Circle of Friends?
Circle of Friends is a magazine by kids and for kids. Sophia H. and Amy N. started the monthly magazine in 2013, and it's completely edited, designed, written, and illustrated by children and teens. The purpose of Circle of Friends and the website is to make a place where kids can safely have fun. It contains no popular culture, and therefore parents don't have to worry about what their kids are doing online if they're looking at Circle of Friends.

What can you submit to Circle of Friends?
Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Photography, Artwork, Riddles, Jokes, Mind Games, Book Reviews, Craft Projects, Recipes, States Pages, Reader of the Months, or even things you had to do for a school project, like a report on insects or science etc. See 'Contributing' for more information.
How old do you have to be to submit to Circle of Friends?
Between the ages of 4-16. Please note the magazine is aimed at ages 7-13, so make sure your work is appropriate for those ages!
What's the difference between contributing and being on the staff?
If you would like to be on the staff, it's easy, just send us an email saying what you'd like to do for the magazine, and submit something. Then, just continue submitting things every month or so. Contributing is when you submit something once.
How much does it cost?
It's free!
How do I sign up to receive emails?

Do you print Circle of Friends?
It's very expensive to print, and to keep Circle of Friends free, we are not printing it at the moment.
How do I get it touch with the editors?
